Dr. Erik Hegmann is a Family Physician who has focused on Cosmetic and Laser Medicine at his Kanata office since 2004.  His friendly, professional approach has made him a favourite among his patients and has helped him develop a thriving practice.

He performs all injections of Botox® Cosmetic and Juvederm™ himself.  His gentle, meticulous manner has made him one of the leading cosmetic injectors in the Ottawa area.

Maryam is a qualified ENT physician in her home country, where she included cosmetic surgery in her practice. When she arrived in Canada, she continued her love of cosmetic medicine as a medical aesthetician. Due to her extensive training and expertise, Maryam handles the more technical treatments, including CoolSculpting, Fractional Laser and photofacials.

Kim has over 15 years experience in aesthetics, including gel and dip powder nails. Ten years ago, she trained in permanent makeup. Five years ago, she upgraded her skills to learn the newest technique in semi-permanent eyebrows, microblading.

Her fine technique and artistic eye has quickly made her a sought-after specialist in these areas. She prefers to create work that enhances your features, rather than following the latest fad.

Taylor obtained her medical aesthetics diploma from Versailles Academy in 2018 and worked in the field for several years before joining our clinic. Once hired, she received extensive training, specifically on the treatments offered at our clinic. Taylor is highly organized and detail oriented. These qualities, combined with her friendly and professional demeanour, helps her develop an excellent rapport with her clients.

Avery completed her training in medical aesthetics in 2021. Once she joined our clinic, she was given additional training specifically on our lasers directly from Cynosure, the laser manufacturer. Avery’s polite and friendly demeanour and diligent work ethic have made her a favourite among our clients.

Hannah has eight years of experience working as an aesthetician at a spa, where she learned her impeccable client care and attention to detail. In 2021, she was ready for a new challenge and decided to upgrade her skills become a medical aesthetician. She brings with her extensive knowledge of skin care products and ingredients and an excellent ability to sense her clients’ needs.
