1. Initial Consultation
Our aesthetician will meet with you to discuss your concerns and help you decide on the optimal thickness, shape and colour for your eyebrows. She will also review your medical history to make sure you are a good candidate for microblading and do a patch test for allergies.
2. Drawing the Shape and Choosing the Colour
At the next appointment, once our aesthetician has a good idea of what it is you are looking for, she will draw the shape of your new eyebrows on your face to compliment your facial features. She will also help you decide on the best colour to compliment your eye colour and skin tone.
3. Topical Anaesthetic
The aesthician will apply a numbing cream to the area and let you sit for half an hour in order for it to take effect.
4. Microblading
The aesthetician uses a pen-like tool that has micro-needles at the tip to create very fine, superficial scratches in the skin. The surface is then covered with ink, which penetrates the skin, creating very fine, hair-like lines.
This normally takes 1 - 2 hours. Throughout the process, she will stop periodically to make sure you are comfortable.
5. Touch-Up Visit
After six weeks to three months, the area will have healed and the final results will be visible. You will return to the Clinic for a follow-up visit to make sure you are happy with the results and to touch up any areas that may require it.
